Yes, we're a few days late, but at least the blog has not been forgotten. Every person is special in their own way (just like everyone else). It's important to remember this when working utilizing different talents. Whether you win over a perspective client, or audition for a role, each person is unique. It's easy to forget this and think there is something wrong with us indiviually when we fail, or are passed over.
Zig Ziglar has an excellent quote for rejection. Sometimes you're selling khakis and the buyer is looking for jeans instead. There's absolutely nothing wrong with your khakis. It's just not what that person wanted. Hats off to anyone brave enough to be who they are, whether a "sale" occurs or not.
